Introduction

As I have said in the presentation of this section (The change), the method of the three photos is my own method, developed by me based on the experience accumulated in my professional career. Therefore, it has all the advantages and disadvantages of this type of methodologies.

Of course, it is documented and naturally, subject to a rigorous procedure, but this is the only part of my professional profile that I do not make public, since this is my own knowledge and what gives value to what I do.

What I can present is the operating philosophy, which is what I describe below.

The three photos method is based on taking three virtual photos of the company in different stages of the project, and has two purposes:

    1. At the beginning of the project, to know the initial state of the project as accurately as possible. In this state of the project they are the only tools for analysis and place composition.

    2. To carry out a follow up every 1-2 years to know the evolution of the project. In this case, the three photos are not the only analysis tool but one more. By this time of the project, more precise and powerful tools should already exist.

Point 1 must have a minimum duration (always according to my experience) of 3-4 months and a maximum of 6 to 8 months per company, depending on the complexity of the project. Logically, if we talk about a holding of companies, the subject changes depending on the number of companies, and mainly, how different their market is.

Point 2 does not have a fixed duration, but is part of the continuous improvement process. If it is robust and integrated, there is no reason for this part to be any particular delay or problem.
